Welcome! My name is Sarah Brow-Corrigan and I am a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. With a BA in Psychology and an MS in Couples, Marriage and Family Therapy, I confidently support clients in navigating life’s transitions and challenges.
Counseling to me is a collaborative process. In my work, I partner with you in making adjustments to find new, balanced ways of moving through the world and being in relationship with self and others. Together, we may work towards developing self-compassion, mindfulness, emotional intelligence and body awareness to increase your holistic wellbeing. In exploring relationships, I draw from attachment theory with the belief that secure connection can be the most healing resource in guiding you towards the change you’re looking for. With that being said, I believe that each person’s unique world view is tremendously influential in determining which strategies will be most effective in therapy. I practice foremost through meeting you where you are, with no set agenda or assumptions.
Specialties include couples and relationship counseling, sexual and intimacy-related issues, exploration of family dynamics, women in transitional life stages, attachment, and parenting. I am Gottman Level I Certified, a Prepare-Enrich Certified Facilitator, and have completed the Externship in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
